Belkin routers, for Team One. From an integrated campaign of environmental retail design and messaging, focusing on the harmonious version of family life that becomes possible when one steps up to a better router.
At Enso, I helped launch marketplace.uber.com — an infographic mini-site that explains how the Uber rider-driver marketplace functions, dispelling popular misconceptions.
Print and interactive copy for MullenLowe introducing a new sport sedan, and in-store promotions for service programs, for Spohn Design. I also wrote the Acura website for Genex (now MXM), and print copy for RPA.
Our brief for Mercedes-Benz was to make the brand more fun and approachable, while at the same time, sincere and competent. (Some early drafts are at the end.)
Sea Island Resort
Ads for Sea Island Resort in Georgia, site of the G-8 Summit. The brief was to highlight key life moments that happened there for multiple generations of families. The news-clipping ads are spec. The others ran.
Air New Zealand
Print and web ads for Air New Zealand, promoting class options, routes and destinations served by the airline. Some were intended for an LGBTQ audience.
I wrote the Acura website for three years. In a redesign, I established a shorter reading experience by eliminating sequential pages and consolidating technical details in popups that were shared between models. At Audi Magazine (U.S.) I was managing editor and wrote numerous articles shortly after a major redesign. I’ve written for car brands for markets around the world, including Mercedes-Benz, Mazda and Nissan in Asia; GMC, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Acura, Lexus, VW, Volvo and Ford in the U.S.; and launch copy for Kia models in Europe and the U.S.
Early Days & Humor
In the Spy Magazine/Absolut Vodka ad contest, I won third-place for “Beginner” and second-place for “Tango.” Read my email to a creative director here. I’ve written a lot of comedy scripts too.
